Bets is best known for her use of the embroidery technique Barbola- which uses detached embroidered pieces, stiffened and moulded to embroider a surface. Inspired by nature, Bets uses Barbola to create many beautiful pieces - predominately flowers and teaches at Embroidery Conferences and Needlework Shops.
