Alison has been embroidering for over 25 years and has written two successful books on primarily goldwork and stumpwork. Furthering her studies in embroidery, Alison has completed many courses and travelled widely and has been the recipient of many awards and scholarships.

A cheerful, popular teacher at Embroidery Guilds, Needlework shops and Embroidery Conferences, Alison has still found time to supply her designs in kit form through her business - Alison Cole Embroidery.
